I recently managed to create my first mod in BeamNG by importing a Interlagos mod from Assetto Corsa. In general the map looks fine and is very fun to drive around, but now I want to change the ground model of the different material in the map because it is all tarmac and I couldn't find a thread about that. So my question is: how can I change the ground model in my map? Can I change based on texture or something like that? This is the only thing that I want to fix before releasing the map to everyone.
First you need to find your texture in the material editor, then scroll until you see a drop-down called Additional Info, then you can change the ground model with the drop-down in there. You will have to reload the map in order for the changes to take effect
