yes definitely go make a roleplay thread in general discussion, seeing how you talk to people here i have no doubts in my mind that this whole thing will go over smoothly if it gets you to not clutter mod threads then go do it

i think he will figure it out soon enough last time roleplay was allowed here it devolved into gambling, nsfw content, threats of violence, infighting, alot of forum clutter, ungodly amounts of children, and a giant disaster leading to groups getting removed
