I think they have before, it may have just been a while. Either way, it's extremely unlikely that we'll get the Civetta this update due to reasons like the fact that all we've seen of it are 2 pictures, neither of which are in-game and were actually both WIP design concepts. You've got to remember that car creation takes a long time, especially to get it to dev quality, and this is likely to be their largest undertaking, due to the nature and complexity of a supercar like this.
I just don't think it would be the right thing to utilize 2 teaser Tuesdays for a car that's coming in 2 updates time, I suspect 0.25 will get the big things devs were working on that made 0.24 use 2 update timeslots.
The D-Series prerunner was first teased in March 2020 and then released in December that year But you never know, it could come this update
I remember that developers once planned to add a modern (2011-2012) version of Roamer, which is based on mid-90's Ford SUVs. So, i think that there is a some chances to get a modern SUV based on (2011-2020) Ford Explorer, probably with FPIU versions as well. What do you think guys?
Actually, they have done that before. Twice. The D-Series Prerunner/Crawler, as the others already said, was teased in March 2020, with its release being in December 15th 2020, with the 0.21 Update, and the Wendover was teased in August 2020 with its release being in March 29th 2021, with the 0.22 Update.
The same thing with Cherrier. But I feel like they want to avoid teasing cars that are not coming the next update. It definitely can happen but it always makes community more impatient. Also, they have significantly increased the amount of content that is coming each update, so I believe everything we've seen so far will be in 0.25.
that was only ever on "the list" and i've always had a feeling those couple of "2014" versions of existing vehicles were added by some random person, I'd say it's likely at that point Gabe was fully entertaining his 80s shitbox fetish, especially considering the demo-derby content focus at the time.
Yes! I really think we really need a modern SUV but if they do remaster this i would think it would be based on the newer Chevy suburban and or ford expedition so what this means is they could also use some of the same parts and completely remaster the d series as well if that's even possible in this time frame of updates they have but they could use the same frame and different body styles and possibly new engines as well.
I don’t think the Bolide will be coming this Update. If it’s only concept drawings it doesn’t seem like it’ll be ready. It does leave me to wonder though, what will this update have other than a covet remaster if that’s the case. Perhaps a second vehicle remaster with it, like the pessima and van.
honestly, so little has been teased about stuff in the upcoming update, that it makes me think the update won't come for a little while.
It’s been some time since the last teaser. Maybe they’re working on something? Idk. You might be right.
The D-Series was already remastered, there's no reason it should be remastered again, except maybe one config using modern lights and front fascia (kinda like how the Moonhawk got the Donk config with the new wheels)
It needs some detailing corrections in its interior (lack of rear inside door releases in the Early and Late Door Panels, lack of rear door wind-down rolley-polleys/Electric Window Panels in the Extended/Crew Cab/Extended Short bodies plus some door switching corrections in the Regular Cab/Short bodies and in the Front Passenger Door of the Roamer) but other than these details, the D-Series and Roamer are OK!
I agree here but I believe if they are going to spend the time to actually remaster the d series and fix some pieces they should have it more of a modern type of truck with navigation and such almost like the treatment of the van but it might be different. Also, I'm not sure if I'm the only person that wants this but I think we need more wheels for the d series and definitely more dually wheels.
