My universal gun is functional and aimable now. If you aim high enough, you can have an insane range and reach a really long distance, like a sniper rifle but way less precise lol. You can also try to shoot at your own hood if you want for some reason, but the bullets don't collide with your own vehicle. If they could collide, then with the current setup they would collide with each other, and they are all in the same place initially, so the car would explode if you tried to shoot (yes I tested it and it happens lol) Biggest issue with it right now is that it only has 100 bullets. There's a reason, for 100 bullets I needed around 1500 lines of Jbeam code. Each bullet is a single node, but each one needs to have a separate launcher. A launcher works like in the cannon, it consists of 2 nodes (which take more weight than the bullets), 2 thrusters (one for shooting and the other for recoil), 4 beams that keep both the launcher and bullet in place, generate the launching force and trigger the breakage of holding beams, and also 3 slidenode definitions, 1 for the bullet and 3 for the launcher. Each bullet and break beam also has its ID used in the LUA controller, + additionally each group of beams has its own breakgroup. So these 1500 lines are pretty long, and the whole file with 100 bullets is almost 100KB, while the Jbeam of the gun itself if less than 10KB. For comparison the biggest Jbeam file of the Maluch is 63KB and average there is around 10KB. Adding 10 times more lines to this 100KB bullets file wouldn't be an optimal solution, so I will add more bullets as separate files, I'm aiming to have 1000 in total. Also I probably need to add an ammo belt, it will be optional, you will be able to have invisible ammo if you want. After that just testing and release hopefully. EDIT: Turns out that 1000 bullets is not really the best idea... It's really laggy and makes the car too top-heavy, and it also isn't too realistic. 300 bullets with a 10 bullets/second fire rate seems like the most reasonable option, but there are also other options available if you want.
First time making completely scratch textures myself, usually my friend does them, but he hasn't learned PBR enough to make something like this. I'm pretty happy with it. Edit: Animated now! (Also bullets are smaller because the belt was way too long with original size lol)
hi guys im askin for some help with making a beamng ibishu van mod (idk how to call it). Model is far from perfect, i edited it in 3h and it needs some fixes here and there but for begginning i guess its enough. its based on daewoo damas/suzuki carry from around 88-95. it has to use its own frame coz the pigeon is too long and i edited it so it'll fit. temporarly i dropped the models file into common.zip\pigeon\pigeon_mechanical.dae

all right a little update for it ive kinda edited jbeam so it fits the car car needs front suspension jbeam fix, in front there is some jbeam glitch, brakes, radiator has some glitches idk why and plates need to be in diffrent place overall i guess its going in a good direction --- Post updated --- i have model of it im planning it but i cant figure how to add parts. also im gonna make towos version which is half personal half delivery car
