Didn't a Danish study say that masks don't work? Or do they? I just have to wear them so I won't get in trouble, nobody likes wearing masks.

just common sense says they dont. unless you have those masks that give a tight seal to your mouth, with the little metal things on the side with the high tech filter, they dont work. social distancing doesnt do anything either. its not like the air is suddenly different 6 feet in front of you. honestly i think its just so people feel better about it.

I could be wrong, but I'm sure it's a lot safer. Imagine being up in people's faces with no mask during this. This thing ain't over yet, but we have the vaccine coming. Also, I know masks aren't perfect and they aren't a miracle device.

UPDATE: As of August 22nd 2021, You are definitely less likely to COVID to the point where you end up in the hospital if you get vaccinated.

Yes, please see my post here for that study.

I believe his post was not to say that no one under 45 dies from it but rather that the risk is significantly lower. The likelihood of dying from it is 90x less for the 18-29 age range than it is for the 65-74 age range. This also applies to other age groups, with the margins being different for each, and the overall death rate is only 2.6%, which is very low. These combined tell us that most under 45 have little to no risk, and that it is only the more elderly that have to worry.

As to the quote here, this is completely not true, as outlined in my earlier post. Masks are anywhere from 46% effective to 26% detrimental, and asymptomatic carriers do not transmit the virus.

No offense, but I'm aware he said that. It is lower, but there's a still chance of people getting it.

Some people have tested positive for HIV after taking the vaccine, but the news says that it was a false positive, which is weird.

All you lot need is good hard lockdown (save for absolute essentials) for a while until there are ZERO cases and you'll be peach, and if it all goes swell then you wont need a vaccine because there'll be no cases. Oh well there are too many people in this world anyways, this whole thing probably prolonged the end of the hooman by about two years. An unpopular opinion im sure for the masses: but maybe if people stopped having 4-10 kids each then maybe, just maybe the world will be a better place...

Anyone's job that pays for the roof over their head and the food on their table is essential.

That's why many people lost their jobs and got hungry, due to the lockdowns, people may not have "essential jobs", and are at home not making money. When you're not making money, you can't afford things.

Erm... no. The only form of compensation has been from the government, and while the first one was led by the executive branch, and was great, the second one was not, so it was more of the usual...
"We'll do a bunch of political favors but wrap them in with the stimulus and say we're helping people."
    It's awful.

Speaking about COVID, the flu cases are supposedly going down because of masks and physical distancing, but the Covid cases are going up because we aren't wearing masks and being 6 feet apart, those two statements contradict eachother.

pretty sure the bank can’t afford 400 dollars a week for 12.6 million people.
Aka 5 billion 40 million dollars... per week.
