Propably not every tuesday, but as it was mentioned here before, it works like a bone for the dogs of update speculation thread... I think the new JRI will come out in 0.22, because the Utah remaster was released in 0.18, the Industrial remaster in 0.20... in other updates we get mostly cars (of course we get loads of other stuff...). The Superpig D series Crawler will propably come out in some of the minor updates of 0.20 like the Hopper Crawler in 0.18.3.0. Lot of vehicles now have empty spaces in the part selector/configurator or how to call it... That in my opinion is some kind of preparation for new subparts (like the empty bed liner bracket, Roamer's roofrack the same, lips and spoilers for ETK 800, preparations for trailers not being separate vehicles but additional modifications and other stuff I don't remember...) And the last thing for now: we have upgraded bias ply tires so there still is a chance for some old vehicle...
We get at least one map remastered every update...we got Derby Arenas, ECA, and Hirochi in 0.17, Utah in 0.18, Small Island in 0.19, and Port/Industrial in 0.20. JRI's remaster seems to be slated for a 0.21 release in December (along with WCA's revisions), and I doubt the Automation Test Track or Gridmap/Grid Pure/Cliff are getting remastered or revised any time soon, The ETK Driver Experience Center, on the other hand...that's an awkward one. Everyone wants it to be larger to have towns and an autobahn and other things that Germany has...and I shall mention again my old concept for a larger ETK DEC I made (which I've just updated with another, old-style town to the northwest, a larger gas station to the northeast, and better intersections around the map), but it doesn't seem like the devs have any interest in making it any larger. It may just remain the driver center in career mode. As much as I'd like this to be the case (this game really needs a late-'50s American car and/or a properly large and strong luxobarge), I don't think we're going to be seeing many more pre-1980 cars in Beam. The facelift Roamer (and pre-facelift/upcoming facelift D-Series), the Vivace, the eSBR, the D-Series/Hopper crawlers, the potential Bolide remaster - it seems like the Beam devs are focusing more on 1980-and-later vehicles for the time being.
I believe the empty parts in the config are stuff that was was in development limbo and have always been there but are now visible due to the configurator changes in 0.20

Oh, I'm sorry. How could I forget about Small Island, Derby, ECA, Hiroshi Raceway... ?! And also, @DOUGL4S1 , where did you see that it's confirmed for 0.21?
So I guess JRI will be one of the last maps that still have the iconic old BeamNG map "hyper-green" color, even after it's remaster. Also, I really hope that Teaser Tuesday wouldn't end, it's our main and most trusted source of info.
the hyper green problem was caused by the new lighting making the contrast higher also looks like the racetrack is getting some new extras aswell with the new wcusa ''mini revamp'' http://media-cdn.beamng.com/E6id5C199O0U6icy/2020-08-19_13-55-11.mp4
Looks like there's a barrier between the strip and the small road that leads back to the racetrack. Would be interesting to find out more about the lore of JRI, like what was the island used for and where would people stay while on the island? (DRI had a small settlement made up of houses, why doesn't JRI?). I have a guess that it was once used as Military base by the Japanese during WW2 ( because of the Japanese bunker), Then as a industrial site of some sort as well as a research station and then finally as a tourist spot.
I hope they do something special with the airfield for the JRI revamp. Perhaps some old rusty WWII plane in the jungle next to the airfield, or maybe some old shipwreck elsewhere...
Some artillery cannons and turret emplacements aswell, would really spice up JRI. Would fit it's lore aswell.
No? These are the Gavril 10 slot. One side has no sun light making them hard to point out what they are. But in direct light you can tell what they are. Same as the pic C/K posted.
