Outdated [Tutorial] How to Install ReShade

Yes I know this is a huge bump, but every time I try to open the game it crashes, and after deleting the reshade-preset or whatever folder, it still crashes. Any help?

 

You'll have to delete the latest .dll file too. And it does crash for me too.

When i click Shift+F2, No setting ever comes up, no shading is in beamng, beamng acts like it did without having reshade.

when i try and add the game it is stuck on select rendering api. how can i fix that?

 

Hi, i just bought beamng. It runs ok.

I installed reshade (as I do in all my games now), but the game does'n display anything but a black screen. It only shows the reshade text at top of the screen, and nothing else.


Anyone can confirm if current version of the game works with reshade?

If so, what's the correct way to install it?

IGNORE THIS! I don't think it is reshade because i've uninstalled it and it is the exact same. Bump time, but I need help like everyone else. I can load into a level but my colors are super fucked up, physics still work fine, sound is fine, ui is fine, but as i said the colors of the environment are mostly black, except for the sky being a large circular line of blue and light blue as well as black above the blue. The ground is just black. Please help if you can. I will attach pictures with this post.

 

There is no option for the Direct3D 10+ for me and i cant get any older versions of the reshade. because of this, beamng crashes everytime i try to open it and i cant get it to work

as im typing this reply i have beamng reinstalling and i removed the reshade folders. if this reply stays here then it did not work after reinstall.

So are all the ReShade mods outdated?

 

For anyone that Shift F2 doesn't work, try selecting \Bin64\BeamNG.drive.x64.exe when installing Reshade, this fixed it for me

 

this isnt working its not opening the menu or reshading

 

This tutorial is outdated. When I installed reshade on my game, my game couldn't run anymore and was crashing every time I wanted to go to load a map. So, I think we can't install it on our games currently.
Btw, you're that person that you wanted to make a custom horn mod and your pc was broken. Could you fix your pc?

 

yes i did but i gave up on that because i didnt want to bother anyone or just do it

 

I did not really like it so i went to delete/uninstall
i did all that but theres a note now stuck on beamng.drive
