OP says "Version 0.7.1: November 10". Is that confirmed? I mean OP usually posts an interval of 1 week or something, but do we know that the update will get released on that day?
http://www.beamng.com/threads/trailer-hookup-in-the-front-of-the-pigeon.32523/ I see this on my end too. You guys think this means we would get an option to tow cars around? Think about it- towing with the d-series or t-series, the tow hook would connect to the front of the car (the sphere is light-blue right now, but eventually it might be red, yellow, or any other color). I think it makes perfect sense, although it might just be me.
That's also a possibility, although I was thinking more towards the direction of tow-trucks- I meant to say that I believe this thing is going to become the tow hook coupling for towing the car after it broke down or crashed.
I can see the Hopper In Fire red, driving through the sand on the beach at Small island. The removable top removed (If it has one), dipping into the water... Ahh. I'll cry if gabe posts a pic of the hopper like I just described...
I think there might be an update today. I know the OP said to disregard the Steam Database as a ground for determining an update's authenticity, but I noticed something just now that happened with other major updates before they were released. If you look at the history of the game, especially further down the page, you'll notice that two Quality Assurance builds are released every day, sometimes with three within a 24-hour timespan. The changes between BuildIDs range anywhere from the high hundreds to a few thousands because of the wait time between builds. However, I just checked, and there have been three QA builds released within the last four hours. The changes between the latest BuildIDs are much smaller, which must mean, or should I say does mean, an update is really close.
Or that our QA build was broken and we updated it manually instead of waiting 24 hours. *InsertShatteringGlassSound*
That means they had to fix something on their end. Not get ready for a release. Did you not read what @Nadeox1 wrote?
I still dont get why some people just cant wait for the devs to release an update, those who count every second between an update. Sure I am waiting too, but I understand that Quality takes time.. The devs could release an update every 30 days.. but it would be aweful because nothing is finishied really. So please just be patient
it means the game didnt even work at all(probably to the point of not even launching) when the testers recived their version so the devs released an extra update I think is the simple way of putting it.
they are always testing their updates just because if they arent tested with every new feature they cant figure out whats causing it
