What kind of laptop was it?

My cheapo HP Pavilion G6-2240sa, had that laptop for 4 years now and it is still in better condition than some of my friends' 2 year old much more expensive laptops.

Oh no! Not hp! I've had 10 hp computers, and I think that hp puts a little device in them to kill the computer right after the warranty ends.

Nope. We have an 8 year old desktop, a 6 year old laptop and that 4 year old one and they all work perfectly.
