Did a search but the closest thread I could find were general specs threads from years ago. What are your PC specs, and how well does BeamNG run on it? I'll go first: My new PC: Intel i9-13900HX, RTX 4080 Laptop, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Performance mode 1440p/High, with AO to medium and dynamic mirrors off 110fps when spawning in WCUSA, 65-80fps with traffic (either 14 non-simplified cars, or 16 simplified+10 parked cars). My old PC: Ryzen 7 4700U, Vega 7, 16GB RAM, 500GB SSD 720p / High, with shadows and effects off 32fps spawning in WCUSA. Traffic (6 cars) brought it down to 18-20fps, and Career mode was nearly unplayable (pretty sure it got 14fps).
My new PC Intel Pentium dualcore 1.7GHz RAM 4GB Nvidia geforce 920M with 2GB VRAM Windows 10 Beamng 0.32 WCUSA 18FPS Beamng lowest quality, and lower My old PC Intel core i3 3.10 dualcore 32 bit RAM 4GB Graphic card : no Windows 7 32bit Beamng 0.5.3.3 WCUSA: no dry rock island 15fps Beamng normal, low quality - in this beamng version it does not matter
My PC Specs: AMD Ryzen 5 5500 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 (D3D11) 7957 MB VRAM Windows 11 64bits 353 zipped mods 1080p on Ultra graphics settings + changes with world editor In West Coast with no traffic I get about 60 FPS on average
My PC Specs: CPU: Intel Core i9 14900HX Memory: DDR5 32GB GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Windows 11 PRO 64bit WCA With traffic about 50~60 FPS CPU-Z Picture
my pc specs: Ryzen 5 5600H 16 gb of ddr4 ram Radeon RX6500M 4 gb i get 40 fps with custom settings for low and lowest settings , on lowest tho i get like 60 cause im on a laptop with terrible cooling and somewhat not knowing where is the "performance" mode in omen gaming hub (yes its an hp victus 15)
Specs: AMD Ryzen 3 3300X 24GB of RAM; DDR4 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER 60FPS on ECUSA with traffic and parking. High graphic settings with motion blur on.
i just use an hp laptop- not at all made for gaming but it runs: 13th gen intel i5 integrated graphics 8gb useable ram 512gb internal storage on low graphics i run maybe 20-25 fps, on lowest i run 30 or so not great, but it works, and thats all i need
My PC is a HP Pavillion 15 Gaming Laptop. CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5 3500H, 4 core, 2 threads, 8 logical processors GPU is an NVidia GTX 1050 with 3GB dedicated VRAM, and 7GB shared VRAM, totalling to 10GB VRAM RAM is 16GB SODIMM at 2400MHz, but only 13.9GB is usable Beam install SSD is a Crucial 1TB, but main OS SSD is a 240GB Toshiba NVMe I play with most settings on normal, but lighting quality is at ultra. AntiAliasing is at FXAA. Shadows are at full IIRC, and Ambient Occlusion is enabled. Light rays, Bloom, DOF is all disabled. I get over 60fps on gridmap using the DirectX render, and around 90fps using Vulkan on gridmap. Other maps such as ECUSA, I get around 40fps in the main city on DirectX. It would be more if I could use Vulkan renderer, but unfortunately, it just doesn't get past the level loading screen and just hangs
2014 Lenovo ThinkCentre M78 CPU: AMD A8 with Radeon 8570D integrated graphics GPU: AMD Radeon R7 350X graphics card Hard drive: 500GB HDD RAM: 24GB DDR3, 4GB VRAM Lowest graphics gets about 25 fps on WCUSA Career barely runs on lowest graphics BeamNG Physics benchmark says 41 MBeams/sec It's a trashy $66 PC build lol but its good enough for me
HP Pavilion Gaming CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600H witch Radeon Graphics GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU Hard drive: Samsung SSD 990 1T ST500LM006 HN-M151RAD RAM: 32GB DDR44 3200MHz 34FPS on ECUSA with traffic. High graphic settings with motion blur on.
I use a thing from Gateway CPU: Intel i7-11800h GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3050ti Mobile RAM: 16GB DDR4-3200 SSD: Unnamed 1TB HDD: Hitachi[insert string of characters here] 500GB Runs WCUSA with simple traffic and Steam Deck preset about 60fps Around 70-80 fps without traffic
Gateway, the brand that was back in the old windows 2000 and XP days? Since when did they make computers now, they went out of business didn't they.
They technically still exist, but they've been acquired by Acer if you know where to look, you can get an unbelievable deal (microcenter) i got mine new for $500
Yeah, I just saw. They're focused on laptops and convertibles now. That's pretty good specs for a $500 budget
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500 GPU: Radeon RX 570 series (D3D11) VRAM: 4GB RAM: 16GB MOTHERBOARD: Something from MSI Mine runs Beam.NG pretty well. I have (almost if not) everything on medium or higher graphics. I get a minimum of 40 FPS when I am alone on WCUSA, and only slightly less with traffic. I normally get 55-60 though in various other maps.
