    Hello

I just posted a pic of my current pc project. My Dell XPS 720. and i thought it would be cool to see your computer-related projects.

My specialty is dell xps desktops, more specifically, pre 2010 xps desktops. i have 3 at the moment, have had up to 5 at once.

PC1, XPS 720. this is my current most up to date project. it is an xps 720 that has a qx6700, 8gbs ddr2 and 2 gts 250s. half-decent Minecraft rig. looks epic and hates Minecraft bedrock. this thing does run beamng 0.4.0.6 too

the other 2 are incomplete machines. 1 is an xps 420 that works but has a crap gpu and a hard drive and an xps 730 that needs a new motherboard and cooler.

if anybody has an xps 730 cooler they are willing to sell to me for less that £30. i would be super grateful

anyway, rant over, hope you like

I recently aqquired this, a 1983 IBM 5150 with all of the original hardware, as well as an original copy of Lotus 1-2-3. As of right now, it has sixteen-color CGA graphics with 16k of video memory, an Intel 8088 CPU running at 4.77 MHz, 384k of RAM, and twin 5.25" double-sided 360k floppy drives (the 5150 didn't come with a hard drive). While I do not plan on upgrading the CPU or graphics, I would like to upgrade it to 640k, and I also need to figure out some method of transferring files to it, likely via some sort of expansion card. I'd also like to add a serial port for use with peripherals that I might acquire at a later date. Furthermore, I hope to build up a decent software library for it over the next few years, as that would be rather cool.
