Hello. I recently purchased an xbox controller. It works perfectly fine via bluetooth connection, so thats what I use. However, I have a problem with it.

For some reason, while I am playing beamng, the controller will randomly stop working. Going to the hardware tab in beamng shows that the controller is in fact connected, but it won't take any inputs. Going to the connected devices in the windows settings also shows that the controller is connected. After a couple of minutes, the controller will start working again. This doesn't happen in ANY other game. I have also tested the controller while it is not working in beamng, and it works perfectly fine.

I have the newest drivers for my controller, and all of the controller settings in steam are turned off. I also use windows 11. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd say it has something to do with windows 11. I don't have that problem using windows 10 with any of my 6 controllers (4 PS4, 2 different gen X-Box ones). If possible, try using it plugged in. That's the way I usually use mine.

Yeah, the problem was just bluetooth. Used a cable and it worked perfectly fine. Kinda sucks that I can't use bluetooth but whatever. I guess it's better using wired.
