Xbox 360 controller change the resolution!

Well, normally I use my thrustmaster t300 wheel but sometimes I just want to mess around I just play with the controller, when I use the wheel I have disconnected the controller and vice versa.
I have a 4k monitor and when I plug the wheel and turn on BeamNG, there's no problem, the game is at 3840x2160 but when I turn on the game with the xbox controller plug then the graphics options are set to 1080 and I have to change it every time I start the game.
Also I realized that when I click on Steam to play the game when I don't have the controller plug it launches the window where is asking to clear cache, start the game, verify integrity and so on, but when I have the controller plugged just starts the game without that window.

I just try it and that was the cause, now is in 3840p again! and the box of starting options is opening with the controller plugged.
