Windows 7 continued support

    With steam ending support for windows 7 will beamng drive also be ending its support? I only ask because I love this game and would happily buy another copy from another site if 7 will still be supported, I’m also asking before I do buy another copy just to be sure, thanks in advance!

    I dunno if Steam ending support makes any difference, but I think if it doesn’t, then it should work fine.
    Don’t take my world for it though, I’m no expert.

    beamng has a no drm version, its on humble bundle. I believe it can even run on win xp

    using such outdated OS is very risky and we do not encourage doing so.
    a safer alternative is installing any Linux distribution and use Wine/Proton.

    while we do not official support this OS, as long as we are not using features not present on that version you should be good.
    you may run into some issues with Vulkan as the drivers can be quite old now.

    XP and Vista cannot run modern version of the game because it requires DirectX11

    two things, on your steam page it says 7 is officially supported (not to mention its gets official extended updates till 2024) and 2 windows vista can run the latest version because it DOES have dx11
