Lately my computer has been making some weird clicking sounds, they are coming out of the speakers so I know its not the hard drive failing! These sounds come very randomly. they sound like when you click on something and it opens. Can Anyone Help Me?!
OK! The problem is solved i figured out what it is! it was a background virus thing that my security app took care of!

Check to see if the sound is coming from a program/OS by opening up the program volume mixer from right clicking the volume settings in the right hand portion of the task bar. If it is coming from the OS, you'll be able to figure out which program by looking through the list. If its not, the sound is likely from interference from other parts of the computer, such as USB. I personally will sometimes hear ghost sounds from my USB headset while I type.

Excuse me, but this is completely irrelevant in the context of the thread. We haven't heard from the OP so it can be assumed that the problem has been solved.
