I made the front suspension of the wigeon wider by moving all the nodes outwards by 0.1m. When I drive in a straight line and lock up the brakes the steering (force feedback) starts shaking incredibly violently, most violently with slick tyres. I've spent days modifying the jbeam and adjusting beam stiffnesses, but nothing seems to work. I'm a bit confused why there's such a profound consequence, since the geometry of the wishbones and the tie rods are unchanged, they're only further apart from each other. If anyone can offer solutions it would be greatly appreciated.
