    Hello everyone,
I hope this question hasn't been asked a million times. I recently bought a Logitech G29 wheel and BeamNG. So far so happy.

I am however really confused by the fact that steering is so hard in the game. Just driving straight on slightly curvy roads requires quite a bit of strength on my side. Making an actual turn is even worse, I have to give it my all to actually turn the steering wheel and keep it from going straight. Anything that requires to turn the wheel more then 360 degrees feels like I'm gonna tear it off my desk.

I have the latest version of the Logitech GHub. I tried to lower the strength of the Force Feedback there, but that didn't help. I looked for a similar setting in BeamNG, unfortunately nothing. Someone recommend to turn off the over- and understeering reduction Assistent, which also didn't help. I went through the official (?) guide to setting up the wheel but that didn't help either.

    Am I missing something?

Does the wheel snap back to the center when you let go? No matter what the car is doing? If so your ffb isnt working. Try unplug and replug usb, then restart computer. If that does not fix the problem, research it more.

The wheel only snaps back to center when I push gas/brake for reverse. It doesn't center itself while parking or when I crashed.

I was in fact just being a fool.

You can set the strength of the force feedback as well as the centering of the wheel in the options under Controls>Force Feedback>Xaxis>Force Feedback Configuration.

    Oops. Solved it.
