Why does BEAMNG Drive not work on an ASUS X555DG laptop?

    You should be able to play the game with this.. But more details on what is happening.. Does the game crash often or doesn't it boot up at all

    it wont boot. things are missing. I checked. 'incompatible device' :(
    that was demo. i think purchase will be the same.

    Demo runs significantly worse than the actual game. That being said, there are minimum requirements and I doubt that your laptop matches or surpasses them. https://wiki.beamng.com/Requirements

    Gotta wonder how many sales they're losing just because the demo is so damn outdated...
    The APU is below minimum spec, but on a map basic enough, the game should be perfectly playable

    The thing is that you can't really compare the demo if the game the game to the final one we have now. The demo was released years ago and is nowhere near as improved and optimized as the version we have now

    Also note that his laptop is available with an AMD Dedicated GPU (I think an M430)

    Need much more information.

    When you used the techdemo, did you first extracted the game from the ZIP before playing?
    Because that's required, and the game will not work if it's still in the ZIP while you try to run it.
    This guide explains it all: http://wiki.beamng.com/Techdemo#Handling_the_ZIP

    Most programs required to be extracted before being able to run.
