i play beamng with a laptop and im wondering who else does. also i would like to know how well your laptop handles beamng i own a Legion 5i (15) and it handles beamng pretty well with max 35 FPS in ultra graphics on any map
me, i used it on an amd x13 gen 3 andnow i use a tuf gaming 15. (sorry if this completely makes no sense)
Me, I play on Legion 5 and it works amazing on normal graphics (I see no difference on higher graphics except less fps) and i'm getting about 50-70 FP, depends on a map that I play on Also used to play on some Lenovo something, worst experience of my life, I had max 15 FPS wih one car...
I've been playing on my Asus ROG from 2015 (6th gen i7, GTX 960M) for the past 7 years without much problem (45 FPS on high graphics). I even was able to turn on dynamic reflections once those got more optimized, albeit at nearly the lowest settings. Since my Asus is essentially a desktop due to it being confined to an external cooling pad, I also occasionally play on my work PC, a Dell Latitude with an 8th gen i5 and integrated graphics. It barely gets over 30 FPS on Gridmap with low graphics, but as someone who grew up playing FSX at 20 FPS, this is playable.
I’ve got a desktop, but while moving I used my Asus Zenbook 14 OLED on lowest graphics. That thing sounded like it was about to blast off into space or something lol.
I play using an Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition (Ryzen 9 5900HX, Radeon RX 6800M). It runs the game quite well.
i play, nobody asked but my laptop is Lenovo ideapad 3 gaming, ngl ultra graphics with AI (6-7 cars) isnt all that bad
Mine's an HP Pavilion Plus Laptop 14, Intel i5 CPU @ 1.30 Ghz and iRIS Xe GPU, 16 GB RAM, completely stock ('cause you can't mod it obvs duh) and STILL running 20 FPS with 1 car on Hirochi Raceway, I'm even typing on it rn. It's the only active computer I own (excluding past laptops I owned), I use one laptop for everything, from personal to work, so this one's got the latest version of BeamNG as well as some of my school documents
Yeah, I use a laptop... Intel i5-9300H, 16GB DDR4, Nvidia GTX 1650 mobile. Kinda low specs, but I can get ~65 fps and above on west coast on low-medium graphics, and over 110fps on Gridmap V1, both with one vehicle. If I want to use ai traffic, I use Vulkan, since it helps reduce CPU usage, but if I'm just using one vehicle, DirectX is better... Originally, it only had 8GB of RAM, so I upgraded it to 16. It also had a 1TB HDD (D drive) but I was running out of space on my C drive, and the HDD was too slow to use for storing games. So I upgraded my D drive to a Samsung 1TB Sata SSD. I also use an external monitor as my main display. That way, I can get up to 120fps instead of 60. I want to upgrade to a desktop with better specs soon, as I have everything I need for it (speakers, monitor, mouse, and a keyboard)...
I play on a Laptop... When I bought it 3 years ago, Beam ran very well, but no it's barely chugging along... I don't know if it's because of the computer degrading, or because the game needs higher specs with every update. Probably both. Anyway, I will definetely fork out the cash for a proper PC but I just graduated college, and want to get a job first, before spending so much on non-essentials.
It's not BeamNG, but I play a game called Brick Rigs on a 2014-15 HP laptop. I managed to get 40FPS, Don't ask me how though. If I tried playing BeamNG on it, it would die.
pretty funny but actually my laptop starts to die, it had some repairs so its gonna die a lil slower but still, its dying. im managing to get somewhere in 30 fps on beam with traffic, not bad but yuh
