So I've converted some sims meshes to put them in a map (probably will stay private don't hate) but in the world editor they don't show up when they clearly do in blender here's some pics :

My import settings: (default I think because I haven't changed them)

    result of import:

    blender model:

I think I may know why because I can import some stuff I mad in SU and it works fine but not these because they're bigger than the game allows ?

    any help is appreciated.

Sims 3 is awesome !:p its a love hate situation.

Just remembered before the pre race update I imported something much bigger than that textures were messed up but otherwise it was fine and the model showed. So why does this not work or did the update change something ?

Is it because when you exported the mesh you had the blender camera selected. Try pressing "a" on your keyboard to select everything and try exporting again. Also make sure to do a Ctrl+a in object mode to ensure that everything is scaled, positioned and rotated correctly.

I've been told it needs a texture for the mesh to show up but I'm a blender noob and don't know how to :s guess I'll have to texture it in sketchup and do normal later.

You don't need a texture, the map i am currently working on has no textures on any models. They may be referring to materials though.

To ensure your objects have a material do the following:

    1. Make sure you are in object mode and have the object selected
    2. Untitled-1.jpg
    3. Now your model has a material.
