Im making an M11 cummins sound for the t-series but whenever i accelerate it goes very quiet which is weird.
I've tried finding the setting causing this but I dont have a clue.

Do you have on and off load sounds? If you only defined off load sounds, then nothing will play when the engine is under load.

Do you mean this in blends file? If so it should be fine. I said it goes quiet, not disappear completely aswell.

is it maybe because a lot of the audio code lines are commented out with //?

I'm not sure but that's just how the T-series configuration for it was, I did some minor edits.

Are those samples correct? If I recall correctly, off load sounds should be listed first, then on load.

Hey - I'm no expert on modding I'm afraid, in fact I've no experience of it whatsoever.. but it certainly sounds like you have on load and off load samples around the wrong way, so agreeing with Capkirk here.
