I'm attempting a quick JBeam project, but I keep getting a flexbody issue; Code: FLEXBODY ERROR on mesh *meshname*: VY node not found Which is preventing my rather simple flexbody mesh from showing up. Even more confusingly to me, the issue popped up when I previewed spinning the mesh around in Blender. I applied the coordinates before exporting, and found the mesh to be a spiky mess upon import. I then attempted to undo my actions, but it seems to have been a permanent effect. Several attempts to reconcile this issue, including using an otherwise identical but different mesh, have only led to the mesh devolving to simply not showing up at all in-game. Edit: And, weirdly, just fixed itself. I was simply adding more nodes onto the jbeam, and the flexmesh reappeared. And yes, the Jbeam was already three-dimensional. I still wouldn't mind knowing what a VY node is, or objectively how to fix it.
This means the flexbody system cannot find a reference node on the Y axis. You must bind other nodes to this flexbody to allow it to show, or offset some. Also, it seems to particularly dislike cone shaped nodes.
Huh. I already had nodes on all three axis, but perhaps I simply didn't have many enough. Oh, and I never officially congratulated you on your new position. Hope you're having fun among the devs!
