I know that it's an unstable WIP renderer, but for some reason in the new 0.31 update, vulkan is just laggy, no matter what. Even if i don't spawn a car, i run at like 5-10 FPS.

Vulkan is for vr, and linux.

    Here, gpt will chime in.

Hi! So i found several reasons to the lag.

    1. Hardware Compatibility: Ensure that your hardware (GPU, CPU, RAM) meets the game's recommended specifications for running with Vulkan. While Vulkan is designed to offer better performance compared to other graphics APIs like DirectX, it still requires compatible hardware to function optimally.

    2. Driver Issues: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date. Outdated or incompatible graphics drivers can cause performance issues, including lagging.

    3. Settings Optimization: Adjust the in-game graphics settings to optimize performance. Lowering graphics settings such as resolution, texture quality, and shadow quality can improve performance but may affect visual quality.

    4. Background Processes: Close any unnecessary background processes or applications that may be consuming system resources while playing the game.

    5. Overheating: Check if your system is overheating during gameplay. Overheating can lead to throttling and reduced performance. Ensure proper ventilation and cooling for your system.

    6. Game Optimization: Keep an eye out for game updates or patches that may address performance issues. Developers often release updates to optimize game performance and fix bugs.

    7. Hardware Bottlenecks: Identify if there are any hardware bottlenecks in your system that may be causing lag. For example, if your CPU or GPU is being maxed out while playing, it could lead to laggy performance.

    8. System Resource Usage: Monitor system resource usage (CPU, GPU, RAM) while playing the game to identify if any component is being overloaded.

    9. Third-Party Software: Disable or uninstall any third-party software that may be conflicting with the game or causing performance issues.

    10. Game Settings and Mods: Certain in-game settings or mods could potentially impact performance. Try disabling mods or tweaking settings to see if it improves performance.

ohhhhhhhh, alright. I understand. I ran it because it could handle AI with less lag, but ig that's not ideal.

Yes, but not limited to those.
