Theres an orange stock one, and a blown one setup for burnouts --- Post updated --- typical aussie work ute
Ah, those types of trucks. I see. Most of the Australian car content I see is Spotto, who mostly owns 2000s Holden Commodores
Oh yea right yea I know Spotto, his cars are more modern/2000+ Holdens --- Post updated --- The older stuff is more unique tho
New work truck...2024 Ram 2500 6.4L Hemi 4WD LWB. Drives alright. Sounds great. Drinks gas. Luckily I don't pay for any of it.
Bought a vaccume pump and Changed the 220,000 mile old power steering fluid on my 08 Chrysler. It now steers better and the power steering pump is no longer screaming. It was also running a little rough at idle and making a little bit of valve train noise. When I went to change the power steering fluid I found my crank case breather hose disintegrated and was no longer connected to the airbox so I got some rubber hose and made a new one. Because the breather hose was gone it burnt a quart of oil so I topped it off and now it runs great again. So for about 4 days of driving It was sucking in unfiltered air but it's whatever.
Less "today" and more "early September" because I never really post here: Sourced and fitted some nice smaller OEM wheels, since my old boat was riding on some fairly gaudy 20s when I bought it: Looks a lot nicer and sleeker whenever we nab a group shot:
Did pads and rotors on the daily Mazda3 and cleaned it up Put some fresh gas in the 240 and fired it up, good old single cam is running strong... Waiting for spring to start getting it back on the road
1980 AMC Eagle Limited Haven't posted here since I had the car on the lift back in June, I think, but I've done A LOT to it. New headliner, headlight surround things, tune-up, door handle clip things, interior trim, windshield trim, windshield seal, et cetera. Lotta stuff. Still needs a lot, too, though. 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 LS Z71 Basically nothing except detailing and... that's about it. Great work truck, through. 2004 Toyota Corolla S Oil change, tire rotation, and removed a piece of plastic (that almost fell of) I need to put back on. Still truckin' along, as it has since 2007, when the car was purchased by my parents down in Kansas City.
Went on a search for a vacuum leak on my BMW. I think i found one issue here. The pipe goes from the intake to the idle control valve. I ordered this and a few other vacuum lines and really hope this fixes it. I also ordered a few other parts for it like a k&n air filter and so on to do a few Updates to it like the E36 intake Hose that lacks the resonator for more Sound.
Built an experimental intake for messing around with the bmw. Its a toilet pipe Adapter bolted to a K&N filter from my Octavia. Now i only need to fix the Vacuum leak and i can test the intake. I know it isnt gonna make more power but at least the sound should be good
