What do you so ever possibly mean by this message? quite literally wdym by this, like what happened since 2016 (your join date) or what mods happened or like the speculation...?

 

While you were enjoying a sabbatical, you may have been absent for my marvelous return good sir. My mere presence in a forum thread garners countless replies, and sparks countless debates of crucial topics near instantly.

To catch up on all that you may have missed would be quite the undertaking, I do not reckon this thread would assist with such a task.

 

Mod-wise, Cherrier emmouse came back, hirochi rush released, capsule bus has windshield wipers and ac, the devs put the openables mod into the base game, theres a new Audi mod with working infotainment displays, and a new luxury ETK. Also the s-series is being redone.

 

TAZ Pack is out too, and some random dude made a crappy (but cool) Pessima rebadge that nobody hears about because a week after its release the RUSH released and the Emousse came back

…no I’m not being salty, I’m just saying the sad truth.

i mean you have 55-60% of the RUSH's demo reviews which I say is a W since it's your first mod, versus a guy who has multiple mods & experience in multiple years so

and not to bring you down or anything but I think the reason why the rush did better is because you don't need another mod to use it. people are lazy fr.

also since last month (october) my birthday happened, cherrier emousse, autobello minilena was updated, some great maps released, just scroll down i forgot the names lol.

october there wasn't really much, september had 0.30. and also there is a new teaser from last week

 

Beamng Drive 0.25 is finally released! Also the career mod is now playable.
What about sad things? Uhhh paid mods now are popular as hell, even on third part sites, now you need to pay money for virus meshslap car. Flurries are taking over da forum i guess.
Also it is better to read about every bug that was fixed since 2016, just for you to understand how good beamng dev team is

- new Civetta supercar (Scintilla)
- Covet gets remastered
- career mode sneak peak gets added
- 4 new offroading vehicles: a trophy truck, a rock-crawler, an ATV/UTV, and an Autobello van, along with Piccolina being converted to a new dune-buggy config (0.27 update)
- ETK 800 and K-series get refreshed (equivalent to remasters, except they still re-use existing assets from previous version of the car)
- m i n i v a n (Lansdale)
- partnership with Gambler 500 racing event, which introduces new special "Gambler 500 Editions" of various cars, including said m i n i v a n (0.29 update)
- ye you can now open doors, hoods, trunks and stuff and whatnot (as charge_1 said)
- another new UTV, this time a side-by-side (Aurata)
- new desert map in Nevada, I think (Johnson Valley)
- WCUSA gets expanded to a new side island
- motion blur gets added lol
- multiplayer gets leaked (still WIP, not accessible in current version of game as of writing)

- furries (flurries as OP of thread called them, hence the McFlurry jokes) get a bit of time in the spotlight (I am aware that it may have caused quite a bit of unease and unrest, and maybe a smidgen of newfound "hate", but look I'm just glad the thread didn't end in a massive firefight) (personally I'm okay with furries)
- random posting thread gets created in General Discussion and then gets moved to General Off-Topic, so you can post whatever da hell you want there
- PowerstrokeHD gets permabanned (rip PowerstrokeHD)
- general forums tomfoolery and a bit of chaos
