What currency is used in the BeamNG "value" stat of configs?

I always see the "value" stat in the vanilla configs of BeamNG (and some mods, too). I assume that this is supposed to be the config's value in a certain currency, but I'm not sure what it exactly is. What is this "currency" in the value stat, if there is any currency, and what real-life currencies can I use to compare it to?

Also, I posted this in general because I really have no idea if it fits into any of the other categories (because I would think Troubleshooting is more like having problems with the game, and I'm not really needing to use this in modding... yet). If I should have posted this somewhere else, please tell me.
