What are some new versions of existing vehicles that should be in the game? I think the Moonhawk's usability is limited by how few bodystyles it has (it's only a 2 door coupe). Although this style was very popular in the mid to late 1970s, similar IRL vehicles had a whole lineup including a sedan and a wagon. I think a Moonhawk sedan would be a very nice addition, and given that the Moonhawk is an ideal demo car, a wagon would be as well. I believe there is an old mod that created a sedan/limo, it had far more interesting taillights as well. I also think there should be a midrange engine, between the large 378ci V8 and the weak 249ci Inline 6, a V8 with about 290-320ci of displacement and about 140-150 hp. Speaking of Demo derbies, if they ever become a large part of BeamNG (it should) then demo versions should exist. They wouldn't be quite as stripped as the dirt racer (they would still retain bumpers) but would have a stripped interior, no window glass (aside from a windshield), welded differentials (or an lsd), and a small internal fuel tank. Convertible mods are fun, particularly when they have zero structural integrity whatsoever and are easily distorted from jumps or flex even from small bumps. A convertible variant on some cars would be nice, particularly an econobox like the LeGran. Obviously not every vehicle would make sense as a convertible, but the Legran, Burnside, barstow, and I series would make great candidates, and perhaps the Bluebuck as well, depending on how closely it resembles a 63-64 Impala. It would be interesting to have an AWD version of the Covet and the LeGran, and a slight lift on the Covet. In the 80s-90s, the Honda Civic wagon, Subaru Justy and Fiat Panda all had AWD versions, and a rare AWD option was on a few Pontiac 6000s. A couple more diesels would be nice, as long as they are realistically slow. The I series, Covet, Legran and D series would make great candidates. In lieu of a V8 turbodiesel, the D series should be equipped with a 7+ litre V8 as a towing engine. Through the 90s, the big 3 all had big block gas(petrol) truck engines. Going back to bodystyles, the 800 series should have a sedan variant, whereas the Sunburst, LeGran and Bluebuck (once released) could use a wagon variant.
I would love a Chevelle Laguna like front for the Moonhawk Also a landau top for the Moonhawk T-Tops , shaker hood
When Italy is released, I hope we get Euro specs for most of the vehicles with different lights, license plate indents, and maybe even a few different facias for some cars.
I think that many of the vehicles, could be updated to same standard of what Hopper and modern ETK are, some of the vehicles are bit older looking in texturing and 3d model wise. One thing I would like to see is simple static model versions of vehicles that map makers could add to parking lots etc. That would give bit more life to world.
The Roamer should become like the new Explorer, EcoBoost V6, three row, and based on a full size car platform.
I would love a D-series utility truck version like this (I believe someone is already making this) A bus variant for the H-series (I think someone was making this but progress stopped) A 4 door variant or wagon variant of the Moonhawk Taxi variants of all the official vehicles (except the t-series) A limo Grand marshal (there was one but it went outdated) U-Haul style D-series more beater variants of each car And this. I know my ideas aren't the most original and people probably said these ideas many times but you gotta support what you want
Many things ahead so to save space I'll put a spoiler for peoples phones and stuff . Spoiler A basic USA police skin for the Grand Marshal, both Sunburst's, moonhawk, Burnside, Roamer, D-series and H-series (what I mean by basic is the black and white but with just police and 911 details). A generic Italian police skin for the ETK 800. A Italian police skin with blue lights for the Bolide. A generic interior for the ambulance (aka change the screen inside the ambulance from Firwood systems to something like Beam EMS systems), add a different version of the ambulance. A closed off version for the H-series. Blasco city ambulance and roamer. A firwood fire department roamer. A Blasco firwood and generic USA fire version of the D-series. D-series and T-series bucket version. Tanker T-series. Racing version of the Burnside, demolition derby Burnside. For the T-series, D-series and H series a Generic USA department of transportation versions. Baja versions of, Roamer, D-series, hopper, and maybe the H-series?. 3 special USA police versions for the H-series. A armored SWAT version, prisoner transport and a traffic enforcement version.
I'm quite sure they will add skin support for T-series at some point. Who wants to make a hybrid between T-series and D-series? Finally a truck that can be called a truck in all continents:
