Weird Controller Glitch

So I opened the game and I had a wired Xbox controller in the usb plug like always and when I wanted to drive, my parking brake would not stop. I hit the gas, and it went nowhere, and then began speeding backwards. I stopped the vehicle and then it sped forwards. I had AI disabled, and I checked all control bindings and reset them to default just to check. I don't understand the phenomenon that was occurring, so if your could fix this, or help me fix this. Maybe it was just a unplug-plug back in thing. I don't really know. That's why I'm here in this forums page.

 

Well, when I press the right trigger my car jerks but doesn't move. Then it's speeds backwards,
I stop it and then it goes forward on its own. Then I stop it and the cycle repeats again. I don't know if the triggers are working. They were the last time I used them. I reset all the bindings to default thinking I may have messed something up.

 

I unfortunately have already reset to the defaults.
