I can get heavy duty and high performance radiators and engine blocks. And to some extent heavy duty transmissions (Automatic Drag transmission).

But time and time again my fun is cut short by "High clutch temperature", whether it's manual or automatic transmissions.

Sure I can edit the jbeam files and make a clutch that never overheats, but that feels like cheating. :)

I just feel like it should be an option in the torque application arms race. And just like radiators in the game, there should definitely be a limit to even an Ultra Heavy Duty clutch.

i agree, that would make it way easier to not go into the files and such
it would add an interesting variable to drag racing lol

they used to have a tuneable clutch way back when they first put the drivetrain logic in, but they removed it and replaced it with a clutch that automatically upgrades to your engine's power level.

In my experience the clutch never overheats due to too much power, but rather to because of too much slipping. are you using the clutch assistant or otherwise slipping it a lot?
