Right now mod updating is really annoing and almost impossible. i have around 80 mods installed on beamng and how do i know if there is an update out for them? i need to look on the mods page every day and see if there are any mods that had an update, (mostly a lot) and then i need to delete and reinstall the mod. why is this so difficult? isnt it possible to make a build in mod updater. like you guys did with the auto installation of mods you can already do via steam. this would be a really nice helpfull feature!
If you really like a certain mod, you can watch it on the mod repo and you'll be alerted when an update comes out for it.
Doesn't it automatically notify you if a mod you have downloaded gets updated? I've been getting notifications for as long as I can remember (after repo launch of course). For op: to update a mod, just download the file to your mods folder and it overwrites the older one. No need to delete first. I have over 250 mods and I manage updating them easily. And built in mod updater is something that I believe will come at some point. Just not through steam. Be patient
no notifications for mod updates. Also 250 mods is too much with that many I'm sure a few things are broke even if you cant see them. With the 25-30 I have some start to conflict each other.
I have around 550. A bunch of them are maps though. Unfortunately, many things are broken. I'm just too lazy to sort through the mods causing problems.
