    Greeting From Turkey.

    I have my computer, but I want to play BeamNG on the big screen. Xbox One X is a very powerful console. Your opponent announced "Wreckfest" for Xbox One. Please bring it to Xbox One X. You're better, I'm ready to give you $ 30.

    o_O:rolleyes:

    XBOX One X would not be able to run BeamNG.
    An XBOX One X is a powerful console, but it's just that.
    A powerful console.
    The specifications in the console aren't actually able to run BeamNG efficiently.
    BeamNG uses a softbody physics engine while Wreckfest uses a technologically advanced rigidbody.
    Just connect a HDMI cable from the back of the computer to the screen, if the computer's not enough to run it then there's nothing we can do.

    [QUOTE = "Cheekqo ™, gönderi: 936321, üye: 140970"] XBOX One X, BeamNG'yi çalıştıramadı.
    XBOX One X güçlü bir konsoldur, ancak sadece budur.
    Güçlü bir konsol.
    Konsoldaki özellikler aslında BeamNG'yi verimli bir şekilde çalıştıramaz.
    BeamNG bir softbody fizik motoru kullanıyor, Wreckfest ise teknolojik olarak gelişmiş bir sert kullanıcı kullanıyor.
    Bilgisayarın arkasından ekrana bir HDMI kablosu bağlamanız yeterli, eğer bilgisayar çalıştırmak için yeterli değilse, yapabileceğimiz bir şey yok. [/ QUOTE]

    :(:( :confused::confused:

    Xbox one X would not be able to reliably run Beamng.

    Enough said.

    No, we don’t, as it would be unplayable and divide recourses within the company. Saber (Spintires) and Bugbear (Wreckfest) both got publishers for their projects, so they have the recourses to put into that. Add to that fact that neither of those games come close to how recourse intensive as BeamNG.Drive...

    If you really want to play BeamNG son a big screen, why not just use a TV as a monitor for the computer?

    Side rant: BeamNG is the cheapest option of those three games and the only one not technically in full release; $30 isn’t much of an incentive. I’m also not sure I would call Wreckfest a competitor any more than any other two things with an overlap in target audience. One is an arcade racer, the other is a sim which is currently best used as a sandbox.

    This. Just this.

    adding to what you said, all you need is a TV, a HDMI cable, and a XBX 1 controller and then you can play like that.

    Unless Microsoft makes some sort of screen sharing program that connects to your PC and runs the games from your computer as if it were playing from the console (This may exist already idk)

    Perhaps the next generation of consoles will be up to the task of BeamNG (doubt) but until then, there is no way it would run on current consoles.

    No, the 2.2ghz 8 core, and it's GPU are no faster than a €600 PC for this game.

    Softbody physics at those clockspeeds, spread across 8 cores will probably result in a lot of synchronization issues and artifacts similar to that. Without a LOT of R&D for figuring out how to make the most of a machine like that, it simply is not possible or worth the cost, when instead you could just use a PC and not have to deal with a console dragging the heels of a game as complex as BeamNG.

    It's the same reason "My Summer Car" cannot use more than 1 or 2 CPU threads. the sheer amount of calculations trying to be synced across multiple CPU cores is just going to make things incredibly unstable.

    tldr; 2013 AMD Jaguar cores at 2.2ghz is going to run far too slow to be a marketable game, IE the Xbox port of PUBG on release.

    feel free to correct me though, with provided evidence :p

    Ok, stop your arguing. It will never be on console, and if it ever is. It won't be that great, and there will be no mods from the forums.

    Nevermind the performance not be in good enough, how will you control it, the UI using a controller is a nightmare in current state. This would need to have a mouse and keybo connected at all times including controller, and there you might as well have a PC

    The Nintendo Switch is pretty much a glorified tablet.

    The Xbox One X is an expensive crappy pc.

    The Playstation 4 Pro is a Bluray player with gaming software.

    There is no way any console could run BeamNG. PC is less work to code for anyways because you don't need to cater to specific specs or proprietary OS's and/or code languages.
