Water looks bad at night

    looks fine to me
    looks like its reflecting light from the moon imo

    well it looks too out of place and from afar it looked like it was chrome in daylight but with particles like dust at night they have no colour change

    No easy fix for immediate future.

    That's because water objects uses static cubemaps.
    Because it's static, it will not change with the time of day, so it will look bright at night.

    well with the particles which are another problem when on Utah at night in the underground railroad its very bright when not being hit by light, cant it just become much darker at night at least?

    Same thing. They use static cubemaps, which are static and do not change with the time of day.
    That means the same cubemap that looks fine in day time, will look bright in night-time, because it's static and it's the same in both cases.
    You will notice this on anything that uses static cubemaps pretty much.
