SOLVED W and S keys not working on pigeon?

I was just messing around in BeamNG Drive and i thought i would switch to the pigeon and when i tried to drive it i couldn't move it. I tried to move around in free cam but that didn't work either. I tried restarting the game but it didn't work, but when i switched to a different car it worked, and i also tried free cam and that worked too so this is only a problem for a pigeon and that makes it even more confusing. BTW yes i did try other configs and same thing.

 

Does the issue still happen in Safe Mode?

 

I dont know what safe mode is actually so i dont know

 

When starting the game, go to support tools -> safe mode.

 

Can confirm safe mode does not fix this and it is an issue across all cars if used.

 

For you I’d suggest verifying the game files, that could maybe fix it.

 

yea im currently verifying integrity however I myself have not tried safe mode yet

I also forgot to state that it was only the W and S keys that didnt work. The A and D work just fine, its the same for the freecam mode.

 

It might be because of a mod that uses W and S as keybinds for something. At least that's my suspicion.

 

IL try a mod config of the pigeon when im back in normal mode. also it does work in safe mode. i also verified integrity and 2 flies were missing but it didnt tell me which files

 

Then if files were mising, I'd suggest reinstalling. But if it's fine in Safe Mode, it must be a mod.

 

its not a mod im pretty sure but uh.. im confused now

 

What vehicle is this? Pretty sure there’s no elevators in Vanilla… but I could be wrong.

oh wait i just disabled the fligeon mod that i had and it works now. the fligeon had elevators (like a plane cuz the fligeon is a flying pigeon) but that brings the question, Why did it have that specific keybind on every config? this hasnt been happening before so i dont know why its only happening recently

 

I tried verifying files without any change, I then uninstalled and removed everything (even the files in Appdata) and did a clean install and still cannot the control camera/seat position with the keyboard or mapped buttons.

 

Custom Keybinds are for vehicles, not configs since you could add the elevator part on every config of the vehicle.

 

do you have the fligeon mod? if yes disable it cause that was the problem for me
