Hi everyone, I'm working on my first vehicle for beamNG.
    It's a 4 seat Volkswagen sand rail!

It's currently using Gabester's hatch n/b and some interior parts from the hatch.
with that said, Gabester, Do I have permission to use that n/b?
If not, I can try to make my own. I have failed miserably so far...

Alot of work left to do, I modified the n/b to fit the shape better.

    Anyway, here's some in-game screenshots.

Its a sand rail. Custom built buggies, usually VW engined hence VW in name.

I love the wheelbase on this thing, and I love VWs. Great work so far.

I like the design, but the front looks really long.

    Very early beta released!

    CREDITS:
Gabester for the N/B setup and interior parts.

I still need help making the lights work and the rear suspension to work better.

If you get that kind of problem, please try redownloading the file.

    I uploaded a better version.

Please please rename the files so it doesn't interfere with the hatch.

Got it working! Other then the rear wheels I like it. The only problem in my mind is that this thing has very little suspension travel, IRL buggies like these have a lot of travel for soaking up jumps.

P.S. A flag like the one in the video would be all kinds of awesome!

Aswell as bigger, spongier (that's a word?) tires to increase traction and to aid in shock absorbing. So far it looks great!

Okay, I tried it out, and you do have quite a bit of work to do before this reaches its full potential. I know it is in beta, and I think I will love this thing once it is worked on a bit more. :)

You need to make a folder in your vehicles directory named 'railbuggy' and extract the zip file directly to that folder.

This thing is cool and pretty unique compared to most of the other mods. I'm not a fan of the family rail, is there a 2-seater planned?

How about you update the original post with the download instead of making everyone else find your other posts with the updates. Good job so far, I really like it!
