Tarmac config has no steering. Easy enough fix on my own, but just making you aware, Edit: Just noticed it has steering in the ctrl-w config now, which it didnt before. No edits made, btw (obviously)
I really like that you guys released your own race-update I personally enjoied the Polo the most. I had some great time already. I have the same steering bug by the tarmac pre-set. Also the front lights seem not really to work (you see them just at night but not really in day) One more bug is that when you lose the rear lights the texture of them dissapear. Also some suggestions for near or far future: Normal street version of the Polo and seperate spoiler. Some screens i made:
Tarmac preset not having steering appears to be due to the tarmac preset not having the steering assembly selected as a component. Add it in the customization menu and re-save the preset.
Rally cars have gear ratios tuned for the fastest acceleration possible, while top speed gets low (usually 150 - 200 KMH, depending on car and group). Get your facts right before posting.
Awesome car ! Thanks for your hard work ! - - - Updated - - - Just found a lil issue with the "tarmac" version. When it spawns the front drivers side wheel is all wonky (tie rod broken).
Really an awesome car. I love it But i mentioned a bug: The "MICHELIN" logo on the right side of the tyres is mirror-inverted. Here are two pictures two show it Correct (left side) Wrong (right side) I think the Cadillac uses similar tyres? But on this car both sides are correct. So I think its repairable? Nevertheless an awesome car
This is my favorite car in the pack. It drives perfectly and just completely works as a rally car. I don't really have any suggestions besides keep being awesome
Thanks for the awesome feedback guys! I'll try to fix the bugs mentioned above next week as I'm not home right now, thanks for reporting! Also, the top speed of 170km/h seemed good for most of the maps. Rally cars' gear ratio is always changed to fit the stage; longer gear ratio for faster stages and shorter for slower ones. Feel free to change it to something you like
