Some while ago we had polls where people could vote for the next vehicle they'd like to see. Since there are quite some WIP vehicles like from 2012 maybe it could happen again.
I can guarantee this thread is going to either die very quickly or be a disaster. Aside from that, I'd like to see the gavril bluebuck next. There aren't too many WIP vehicles left anyway, besides the almost ready 2400I.
Well as we know of. I did not know that the K-Series was going to come out. Just remember, this is an alpha release.
I think it is time for something new. Smart/Mini type of car, minivan, passenger van(VW Multivan). These things would be great fun if we get them some day. On the topic: I quite liked voting for next cars. But Devs currently sometimes give us cars that were never mentioned before. So it's not just voting. It's creating materials about them to give us insight for voting etc.
I think we should leave gabe to do his job. Eversince the Kseries and the 800series just got released with out a sneakpeak, they feel better than other cars. Maybe thanks to the fact no one knows about it so no one brag him about it????
Actually, all the cars released in the last updates all had a picture teasing them on Facebook or on the forums.
Really? I have never seen a teaser of the K series before, neither the 800 series. EDIT: Whoops, never did my checking, there was a teaser for the 800 but not the K series. I think its because I started playing again once I got to build my computer.
He might have another Italian car planned. Like only 1 Italian car in a game? Seriously? You got to at least have 2 or 0.
The 2400i is the next car to be released. After that, the LeGran will be going in-game very soon. The Bluebuck is next after that, and the Wendover will be the last of the currently announced cars. We cannot promise anything beyond what we have already shown, though that in no way means that we will stop making cars!
If this list holds true, which it may or may not, then I really think the next 3 updates after the 2400i will be very underwhelming in the vehicle category. All that we will be getting will be a bunch of old, slow 60's sedans. Even the 2400i is almost identical to the 89 pessima in looks. The variety of cars we are going to have will be very low. I'm bored so I made a few charts.Plus they look scientific, and no one ignores scientific looking stuff The game as it is now: And after all the announced vehicles are out: I was generous and counted the T series and H series in there, though I wanted to count it as consumer grade Trucks/SUVs. We just need more variety in our cars. You can see how The last SUV we got was the roamer all the way back in 0.3.8. Problem with all the sedans/coupes is they are all pretty much the same shape, size and weight. You can only roll over a sedan type car so many times before getting bored of rolling over sedans. If gabe released a teaser similar to this, minus the branding, I could see myself going into a coma. And without my generosity: Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm in the small minority of people who actually likes trucks/suvs in my racing games. In forza horizon, my favorite car was the escalade. In infected mode, I'd almost always use the escalade, Raptor, or FJ cruiser while everyone else used supercars. I'm always looking for a cheap xbone so I can play Forza Horizon 2 and satisfy my SUV desires in video games. I don't want the point of this post to belittle the work gabe and everyone else in the vehicle department have done. What they've done is incredible. I just want it to draw attention to the lack of diversity in the beamng car pool.
We're aware of the oversaturation of sedans. A lot of it has to do with the fact that we were originally focusing on destruction physics, and were making cars suited to demolition derbies. We will definitely look into making many more cars after these are finished; we just cannot promise anything specific right now.
Really appreciate the work the developers do i want to thank you all for it. And i really wanted to see the LeGran soon but actually its closer than i thought.
