    Hi everyone !
This is my first thread here. I'm completely new in the BeamNg community, and i just started modding it and crashing cars. It's quite a lot of fun. However, one thing distracts me, and it's the vehicle sound effects.

This thread started by LordJarhead explains it quite well.

Fortunately, there are plenty of mods that correct this, but i think something could be improved, and that is the way engine sounds are working.

Currently, from what i've seen, the engine sounds are divided in "idle","low rpm", "mid rpm", "high rpm",etc... sound files. To be fair, it works pretty well, but i've found that it is also pretty hard to create these sounds. They need a perfect loop of at least one rpm level, at a perfect, stable pitch. IMO, it kinds of reduces the possibilities with the modding community.

Here's my suggestion (please notice that i'm not basing myself on the current game files, but on what could be possible) :

What if there was the possibility to use a single audio file for the acceleration ?

Here's an example of it, taken from a random "dyno pull" compilation on Youtube :
    http://www.mediafire.com/file/dcycixxj89cpyhy/Honda_acceleration+(2).wav

It is a system that is used by the majority of vehicles in Grand Theft Auto V, coupled with deceleration sounds, idle sounds, startup and shutdown sounds.

It would certainely be much easier for modders to find sounds, and create much more immersive engines !

Anyway it's just a suggestion and thank you for your attention.
