One thing I have noticed lately, is that some vehicles in BeamNG.drive that are intended to be sold in Europe, usually do not have the regulations fulfilled to be a street legal vehicle driven on European motorways. American branded vehicles are exempt from some of these regulations due to the fact that many of them may never be sold in Europe. But, vehicles like the entire range of ETK cars, Ibishu cars and so forth that can be sold in Europe, should have options such as smaller bumpers for older cars because the European market does not need stupidly large American spec bumpers, a rear fog light for all vehicles that may be sold in Europe and for older vehicles, possibly different headlights because old American regulations included requirements for round headlights. I hope this information may be useful for the modding community, the developers and so forth. I intended this to be a result of my observations towards my interest of cars.
Well, I guess you're right. Though, BeamNG has a bunch of maps that are in the US, some unknown, and ONE in Germany. So for ONE terrain, I really don't think it's necessary. And stop Dissing American bumpers lol...
Italy is coming up soon enough though, so not all maps are American. Also, most older American bumpers were pretty bad for a cars looks...
To be honest, America had a chance to receive the best of Europe, such as BMWs, Ferraris, Porsches and many other famous names, but they were ruined by emissions regulations, safety regulations (Hence the stupidly large bumpers) and so forth. Because of that, America never got the full European car experience and since these American regulations were so hard to fulfill, European companies decided to halt import of some of these cars. And in my horribly resized photo, is what would be a fantastic BMW E28 Five Series, has been cosmetically ruined by bumpers. We should all be in agreement that these kinds of bumpers simply do NOT belong on a refined car from Europe.
In all honesty I always kind of liked the looks of the American BMW bumpers better, but I guess everyone's got a different opinion :^) OT: I think it would be fine if you're okay with waiting, but in all honesty I think it would be very time consuming and bothersome if you put it in the perspective of the moderators. Good thinking though, I wouldn't have thought of this
