I decided to make a thread for my mod (link: https://www.beamng.com/resources/ve...e-and-other-values-edit-works-for-mods.14868/) so people don't have to DM me when they have suggestions. I'm working on an update that will add custom configurations that use the custom values, only for official vehicles because i can imagine if I added configs for even 1 mod there would be people begging me to add presets to more and more mods. Please give me suggestions of what kinds of configurations to add, note that you can only suggest something that is already possible to do with the mod. Also someone tell me how to link this thread to the original mod. If I created it wrong or something then tell me, it's my first mod after all.
Update with configurations is awaiting approval! Includes at least 1 config for each vanilla vehicle, all of them use something from the mod!
I don’t know if this would be possible but for it to be able to change the grip amounts of the tires. I may be missing something as I have barely played with this mod.
Changing the friction value affects the whole car including the tires, so it gives you more grip. It has side effects though, rollovers will be more violent and various things will "grab" your car when you touch them at high speed sometimes.
Sounds just AWESOME, Real life traction model on BeamNG instead of extra light arcadey traction all BeamNGers are use too.. Sure can change gravity to something less to give tyre traction a real test..
There have been reports of the Dubai Police light bar not working. It's due to a conflict with another mod. Should be fixed in the next update hopefully.
I'd like to report that the mod doesn't work for me. I updated it but the fire and engine updates don't show up no matter what configs I change. When I change the licence plate design to the mod's name, only the first update/version of the mod values are there
That is super weird, I could imagine the engine values not working because of some mod conflict, but the fire is in the same file as the other values so it makes no sense that it doesn't appear. The only possible explanation I can find is that something went wrong when updating. Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the mod?
I don't know what you mean and I pretty much forgot this thread existed lol. A lot has changed in the mod and everything here is outdated now.
I am wondering, can you make a engine swap and value override combo? thanks because i swapped an engine and it keeps exploding
There's an OP Unbreakable Long Block option available, your engine should survive 500000+ horsepower with it. Try equipping it and see if it still explodes, if yes then I can make it even stronger. Or I can make a customizable long block, idk.
I love this mod, but thrusters for some cars before update not works now (eg.Wendover or Grand Marshal)
