I have been always wondering what those folders were for. I see them in there but I don't see them in any of the other engine folders (unless there are not there do to licensing). Are they supposed to be used for something?

I am only concerned about what's in the V6 folder not the other stuff.

Looks like FMOD files for the V6 sounds.

Is there a way to get these sounds working in-game?

I think those are the sounds that are already used in game. You can see that the names of those folders suggest a coupe of variations in the engine. One has a sound for the proper exhaust system, the other one is a sound near the air intake (or the sound of it) & then the rest are sounds of broken off exhausts or mufflers

Is there a way I can use the V6_ENG_INT sounds from that folder separately?

As far as I know everything concerning FMOD is currently out of modders reach, as Diamondback stated very recently,
adding that he hopes this will change in the future. So concerning the V6_ENG_INT sounds, I don't know if there is a
BLEND2DSFX file within our (modders) reach atm. I think not but I'm not sure. If it's really annoying you not finding
out whether it's possible or not then I can maybe take a look at it too. :)

I copied and pasted the original file and changed the names of the original v6 blend2dsfx file in the new file to V6_ENG_INT and made a separate art/sound/blend folder in my mod folder and put the new file in there but got no sound

I followed the proper sound mod file structure art/sounds/blends in the mods folder but still got no sound for some reason. So, can somebody help me figure this out please?

That's what I was about to try too ( art/sound/blends and put the files from INT into the regular V6 blend file ) but if you are
sure you made no mistakes and this isn't working then forget about it. It's not going to work, the files are encrypted in the BANK files.
The BANK files 'decide', if you will, where the sounds are going to. So, if you really really must have that int sound then there is only
one more solution : record them yourself and create your own sound mod.. Thus technically no, you can't use the INT sound as a
    separate sound source. :/

I'm confused because somehow in the unused v6 sounds mod some of the other exhaust sounds within the v6 folder are in that mod and they work perfectly fine and they are in the same structure.

Why is the V6 engine the only one to have these extra sounds?
