POGGERS! What speed do they have to go to make the jump? I need to know as well because i've never landed said jump.
About 70 mph (110 km/h). It's hard to tell exactly because the steep ramp kills the speed off quickly. I tried doing the Autobello Baja config but it was a bit too slow, ugh.
Wish I had access to my PC right now, i've got an autobello rally config with a much more powerful racing engine that can take jumps like that.
Are you only gonna be able to race the Sunburst Off-Road or is it any vehicle?
If it's any vehicle, you/someone else should make some baja configs of some high power vehicles for this pack.
Now, that's what I call a RACE!
Unlike a bunch of my other scenarios, you won't have a choice for the player vehicle. I'm aiming to use a variety of vehicles throughout the pack, as well as balancing the difficulty of each race (not too easy and not too hard). Custom configs are a really good idea, though.
If I was able to I'd totally make some configs for this.
Rip my PC.
Good luck with this tho! Looks like fun.
Thanks. I already started to make a few rally configs. Phew, this whole scenario pack may take a while to finish... feels like I bit off more than I could chew. Gonna make more progress in my free time; I think this will be done within two weeks.
Awesome, more races are always appreciated. I'm really looking forward to what you come up with. The new lua stuff sounds exciting as well.
The AI has severe trouble with this section:
Even with low speed and low aggro, they usually end up rolling at the end of this slope. I might do scriptAI, but I wanna finish the other races so I can release this sooner (I can't wait to show off some of the neat features I did). So I dunno about this.
Well, that hill you're talking about is very steep. I've gone down that hill before and I've had to use the brakes for at least 90% of it. I'm sure it's a 30% slope at least. It's probably more then that. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Also, I hope fixing that AI issue goes well for you =)
