Dell Precision M4600 with Intel Core i7-2920XM, NVIDIA Quadro 2000m 2GB GDDR3 and 32 GB of RAM is good for BeamNG?
Should be working well. Not sure about the graphics (never heard of that) but it should run it in reverse
I'm tested this Workstation but with Intel Core i7-2720QM and 16 GB of RAM with this gpu but banana benchmark say 0.00. When I'm stopped physics I have 50 fps on high.
I probably buy version with this GPU but with i5-2540m and 8GB RAM because I don't like i7 in mobile PC.
What. Get the i7. It's an actual quad core (QM) while laptop i5s are dual core + HT. Don't go for 32GB RAM though, if you can do i7+8GB go for that, else go for 16.
But i7 must throttling in most laptops. 8 GB RAM is ok for me. I'm must test BeamNG on this laptop with i7 QM.
If it has sufficient cooling it won't throttle I had a 4702MQ in my laptop and it ran BeamNG really well. I'd recommend the i7 quad over the i5 dual, especially if you are going to use the laptop for gaming.
Thanks. But first I must have 2500zł (pln) (590€, 680$). I'm probably use this laptop to blender and rendering . Windows 10 of course.
I have a laptop both with a more beefy GPU (Quadro k2100m or something like that, looks to be a step up from yours), 16GB RAM, and a more powerful CPU and I have to play on mostly low settings. The main issue is the GPU. Workstation GPUs aren't that great at games.
My M4500 with an i7 920XM and FX 1800M can play about medium settings 1080p on Grid map at perfectly playable framerates. (Overclocked GPU by the way.)
