This is my first map creation, ever. Because it's my first one, it's not a full custom map. I used small island as a learning tool to get an idea of what I was doing before I chose to go full-on with a large project. I couldn't help but notice there was a very big hole in the BeamNG community as far as maps were concerned centered around one specific vehicle type; Rock Bouncers. This map was created with Rock Bouncers at its core. It was designed specifically for them. It was tested using them, and ONLY them. Map features: Trail 1: A complex rock bounty wall. There are only a couple of lines up this wall that I have found successfully make it up. Can you find them? Trail 2: An intermediate-level high-speed bouncer trail. This trail was designed to be fast and fun, and nothing short. Trail 3: The newbie trail. This trail was designed for the less experienced offroading player. It still has a couple of technical areas, as well as lots of throttle control needed. However, I made this trail with the new guy in mind. In my opinion, all maps need areas for beginners to sink their feet into. Trail 4: This is not built for, and in my opinion, cannot be done or completed at high speed. However, the obstacles on this trail will require full-throttle bouncing to get over a lot of them, It will throw your vehicle in directions you didn't expect, put you in bad angles, etc. This trail was designed for the player who doesn't want to 'floor it and go,' but still wants a rock bouncer feel to their gameplay. Trail 5: The Official No Prep Rebels Bounty Hunters Bounty Hill. High Speed, mostly dirt, lots of crashing, and EXTREMELY steep (it gets to nearly 90° in some areas). Can you make it up from the starting line? Trail 6: The Rock bouncer mountain climb. Start at the beach sand, and work your way up a small stretch of the entire side of the mountain, ending in a small jump at the summit of the mountain. Trail 7: The Scenic Route. If you are struggling to understand where to go at the start of this trail, just stay on the beach until you see signs directing you where to go. This trail is VERY long. In aspect, it covers about half of the length of the entire island, and in actual driving distance is longer than the entire island. It features a fun beach run over hills and rock faces, and even dips your tires into the ocean for a moment for some water runs! The trail meets at the 2/3 mark in a very complex bouncer trail that is most certainly going to frustrate a lot of the players who attempt it. The first few trails are considered race trails, and have been not only outlined in white chalk to dictate where the boundaries are of the trails are, but also a start line and finish line to time yourself from start to finish. Rolling starts on these trails are not allowed, and the designated starting lines are their official start point. If you cross the lines to the right or left, that pass doesnt count. Go back to the start line and attempt it again. Your vehicle must be stopped at the top of the trails with at least one TIRE over the finish line to count as a complete pass. This is especially crucial for the official bounty hill because the finish line on the bounty hill is further back than the rest of the trails. The map features a garage, gas station, resort/air bnb style entrance with a yacht for transportation, and an island construction headquarters to pay homage to two people that played a very important role in helping make this map happen. You'll notice other names of people who make maps with their banners and logos located throughout this map. These people were heavy hitters in helping me get the map to where it is now. Known Issues: - Previous dirt road pattern from the heightmap is still visible on the official bounty hill from where it went around the hut to the right of the hill. I tried to mask it to the best of my ability, but the road is on the heightmap itself, so it's not going to be possible to completely eliminate it. - Dirty texture decals floating or out of place at the Tyrannos Gas Station. I'll fix this at a later date. If you find an issue with the map, please report it directly to me via my discord channel or here. There is an EULA associated with the map it the root .zip directory for the permissible uses and distribution of the map, its assets, and all things pertaining to the map. If you have a question as to what you can or cannot do with the map, please read the EULA.otf located in the zip file.
