From what we've heard in all of the dev's videos it is not going to happen for this update most likely.
Yes, and it even still works: https://www.beamng.com/resources/east-coast-u-s-a-winter.931/ You can even drive, no, slide around on the frozen river/bays and you also sink into the snow
There is an old gear shift sound taken from ROR in the files but it sounds more like a click than a shift.
The devs have been really quiet about development recently...which makes me wonder what other things they're going to release for 0.11, specifically for a new car to play with. After all, they still haven't revealed anything about a new vehicle yet, not even mentioning any news at all about the next vehicle for quite a while. It's known that the Bluebuck is the most likely to come to 0.11, and I reckon that they're only keeping any development of it secret to prevent the forums imploding from hype, but still...typically, we had at least some evidence of a vehicle being worked on, however sneaky it was, and we haven't had any new screenshots of anything new-vehicle-related since April 14th, which would be the longest period since the wait between Version 0.3.0.5 and Version 0.3.1. I reckon that that may just mean that vehicle development is taking a lot longer than it usually does (which would make sense with Gabester on medical leave), or they're preparing something massive to go with BeamNG's first city map (which isn't very likely, but still is a possibility, as WCA is a huge leap forward for BeamNG.drive).
Yeah they have been very quite for a while I have been impatient for an update all month with no luck but now that you mention it it is suspicious
I bet they have been working on west coast USA Then after that, the longer no update, the bigger the update?
I believe you are correct I believe that they could add a new car or different textures or something we have never seen before
So, I had a shower thought today. What if the videos of the sunburst rally car have a torque vectoring centre diff? (or do cars already have that? I don't know.)
Delaying vehicle information to reduce forum hype ... not a bad plan, considering the mess surrounding the Hopper's development. Not the best plan either, but I guess no news really is good news sometimes. Still, not having any confirmation if there's going to be a new vehicle in 0.11 could lead to a very different, more negative form of hype either immediately before or after the update... Gabester's medical leave could be an explanation, but I sincerely hope not. Even if that is the case, I would hope that another developer would take charge and either finish the Bluebuck or get another vehicle ready to go. My pet theory at the moment is that they're planning a full lowrider hydraulics system for the Bluebuck, and want to wait until that's finalized before they release any sneak peeks. If they're preparing something massive, on the other hand... Why yes, I realize that I've completely veered off into the realm of baseless wishful speculation, but just let me have this moment. It feels good. Besides, if something truly massive was in the works, it'd probably be kept under wraps because larger vehicles seem to require a much longer development period. Granted, the only example we have is the T-series, and it was fully experimental during its development, but the sheer size and complexity of such a large JBeam structure would probably slow down vehicle development.
