Best looking gen of WRX IMO. Especially that spec. We need that in-game!
I love this gen, but I disagree it's the best.

Yeah definitely doesn't seem like we're getting a teaser today. I reckon we'll miss it again next week and then we'll get a really revealing teaser the week after that.
No teaser today so I’d say may 28 is out of the picture
Id say no teaser reinforces may 28th, since a lack of teasers sometimes happens before updates
from what I know, usually we'd know more about the update if there were no teasers right before it. We really only know that the Covet remaster seems to be done, and that the new Civetta is nearing completion.
Who knows, maybe they are trying something new, by not showing much too much information, to surprise us with the content for when the update is released. Idk, I'm probably totally wrong lol, but that's what makes speculating fun. Other than that, I don't know when the update would be released if it isn't the end of this month.
I Still highly doubt the update will be this month, no updates on steamdb at all, lack of our knowledge of what'll be in the update, still picture it to be done mid June to early July only
And with the engine layout it truly deserves to have: the Flat-4!
that background car's headlights do look different though
I believe it's because of the DoF and that orange spot that looks like a turn signal, however i think it's just an artifact since you can see other colored dots near the car
Seems like some code to do with a vehicle. Not sure what the "Pyrotechnic charge" line has to do with the rest of the code, I'm not a programmer.
From what i understand this part loads a bunch of other "controllers", basically codes files made specifically to do what they say. It's probably for the new civetta.
Too bad Diamondback censored the sensors in his code. This will surely be something that some people on this thread will censure.
Looks like a pyro fuse, some newer Audis and Lamborghinis have a fuse that blows whenever airbags deploy, cutting power to certain systems to reduce a risk of fire or shock. I believe it also disables the engine. Be interesting to see this implemented in game.

It reminds me of 2010 mercedes sls. The car famously had gullwing doors. This brings some issues when the car flips over, because this way occupants could get trapped inside. The car was able to “realise” it’s on its roof and detonate small charges in door hinges just above (or in this case below) occupants’ heads in order to let them free themselves.
So maybe thats what those pyrotechnic charges are about?
I don’t know. I’m for sure trying to read too much into it but from what I gathered from this tread this what it’s all about lol.

-Devs are quite silent, we don’t have much infos from all those months of development

The pyro thing is probably whats already been mention. I dont expect the update to come soon, although i really hope it does.
Lately weve been seeing more i fo from the devs than earlier imo. I really appreciate that cause that keeps the community happy afaik but im in that said community so im probably biased lol
