Maybe the devs could comment here to confirm if the vehicle is indeed a muscle-type vehicle or sports-type, seeing that it's close to mid nov? *I do indeed hope it's a muscle-type car tho.* but that's just me
Try maxing out the min/max load and un-muffling it! As far as the I6, it has to do with the wave shape and timbre, and the amount of noise added during synthesis. As far as the pigeon I3 max out the min and maxLoadMix and unmuffle it which will make it sound even better!
Again, they said mid november earliest! So we won´t getting too much of it just before release besides the teaser tuesdays i reckon
They stated in a tweet that it suffered the same suspension phenomena as the new Supra, but that is just suspension geometry, at least it leaves me to believe it will be somewhat sporty, as the devs stated they were testing it on track, we can hope for some nice racing config at least.
I know right! My God!! These are the Inline-5 backfires I'm talking about, that's exactly how the tuned Inline-5 FCVs sounded in their first months!! That small late backfire after the main ones makes the experience even more intense!! Even the stock Inline-5s had a decently loud backfire (in the video I'll post, check the scenes with the Vivace S 410Q Arsenic)! Please BeamNG Team, bring them back (along with the backfires of the 1.6 Inline-4 of the 230S, because they distinguish the 230S from the more normal 160 version of the same 1.6 engine)! Without them, the 5-cylinder almost sounds like it has PPF! And it's especially unfair when all other FCV gas engines have them but the Inline-5 doesn't!
If were going to nit-pick... bruckell and gavril V8s should sound different. 50s/60s gavril small locks should sound different from big blocks. 80s/90s/00s OHC Gavril motors should atleast be quieter than the older mills. same for 378 and 4.4.
Doesn't mean they can't simply say a few words to either confirm, or deny our endless speculation a matter of weeks before release.
"Mid November earliest" doesn't mean it will be released mid November, it could be released in December.
OT but what do you guys think tomorrows Teaser Tuesday™ will reveal? And yes, I am speculating what we are going to speculate.
"Mid November earliest" doesn't mean it will be released in December, it could be released mid November.
I hope we see more of the Pessima Revamp or & the new vehicle because the van is pretty predictable and im far more curious what they got up their sleeves for the other two!
Take a look at the new Forza Horizon game. They nailed a lot of the engine sounds. Aftermarket exhausts, higher displacement motors, and motors with upgraded cams and long blocks sound different. Ideally, swapping the stock long block to the performance one should give the motor a mean idle and a more aggressive sound.
Since this update has taken double the time of normal updates (~6 months instead of the usual 3), are we going to be including this in the calculations for the time between updates? Or are we just going to call it an outlier?
I'd consider it an outlier for now. If this becomes the new trend however, the old between update calculation chart would likely be deprecated.
