I'm not sure. I'm guessing the current wiki or the doc system.
I think they going to add wiki or UI.
And here we go
You do know the new documentation thing is still being worked on right? Its in its beginning stage. The current wiki is a bit dated and in a older format. Its not that easy to navigate and it is lacking a straight forward-nes to it.
The age limit to be on the forums is 13 not 6
It looks unfinished because it is unfinished. It's still a work in progress and I trust that it'll be up to date soon.
This is true, but remember that if you really want to spend your time writing about some old Gabester posts, you have the option of editing the fan wiki. At the very least, they won't be fully deleting the wiki; what's there will still be there.
Since when has a petition ever worked, for anything?
I know this is old but I really love the look of the pre-facelift D-Series. I seem to be in the minority but I really like how it looks and am very excited to be playing it soon.
That's why you can make a fan wiki instead (or even fix up a older fan wiki), and update it yourself. Also, editing the original Wiki is kinda made pointless to begin with when the devs themselves are gonna put official information (and make it a lot more accurate than the old wiki).
Why was the dirty skin removed?
I'm not at all interested in seeing this thread locked AGAIN, so can you all please stop overreacting and take your wiki argument elsewhere?
Gabester answered this question on reddit (yes, that is his account).
"The dirt texture was never meant to be made into a skin to be shipped with the game. It doesn't work correctly with a lot of the parts. It completely predates the skin system (with the 2nd channel UVs), so it's on the 1st channel UVs, which are not meant for this sort of thing. With all of the surgery and updating we've had to do to the D-Series, it didn't make any sense to keep and update this old dirt skin when it's not part of any future plans and there's no way to make it work nicely."
It's available in my Legacy Pack though. (shameless plug)
Here is a thread about the wiki I made. You guys can talk about the wiki over there if you want.
Will there be a new skin to replace it?
Well, I hope things go well when you make that thread and I hope the devs don't lock it.
I don't believe the devs have directly said anything about it, though the line "not part of any future plans" makes me think the answer is no.
Likely not, but you could replicate it with a simple skin mod if you want to.
I think the maintenance is just for the wiki and other fixes, nothing
Maintenance its just... maintenance. There is nothing big behind it. Everyone doing it from time to time.
