In order for Promods to function properly You are required to have all the latest official map expansions that were available during the release of the particular patch. The reason for that is those DLC's contain unique assets not available in the standard game, therefore Promods will not work without them. You can see the compatibility list in detail here. Note however that You do need to have an account on their forum to be able to access it, including linked compatibility page. Currently the latest version 2.50 requires v1.38.x game version and All 6 currently available map expansions shown below. Additionally when launching the game and following all the steps correctly the computer should be left alone until the game loads into the profile completely (past the manager). As any and all action can cause the game to crash making it appear as there is a deeper reason behind the crash.
