my t-series does not have the new skins but when all mods are disabled they work. does anyone know a mod that may be causing problems?
Probably some mod messed up the materials. After you disable mods, you have to press the 'Clear Cache' button to remove all materials file create by mods.
Maybe Dunewulff's skin and config pack? I recall it having a skin for T-series made possible by some hackjob. Or it could be Beamo's T-series pack.
i think it may be the dunewulff pack im deleting it and testing --- Post updated --- apparently neither mod was causing the problem i deleted both and it still doesn't work
Not just deleting the mods, but you have to clear the cache every time, since it's the only way to get rid of whatever broken materials a mod may have created. If you cannot figure what mod is doing that, do a clean reinstall directly: https://wiki.beamng.com/BeamNG_FAQ#How_do_I_perform_a_clean_reinstall.3F
ive done that and i said it works with mods disabled --- Post updated --- i just wish i could find the mod that is doing it
i wish i didnt have to do that i have over 500 mods --- Post updated --- i wonder if in the future we can have an error message that shows what mods are causing problems like Gmod
Please consider reducing how many mods you have; BeamNG.drive isn't built to handle that much content. I'm having significant issues and I only have maybe 25 to 50. 500 is insane, and I bet you a good chunk of them (Granted they're not Automation exports,) are broken. You have no choice really but to spend some time and sort them, and get rid of the broken ones. Sorry that there's not a better solution yet, but that's all you can do to figure out what's broken or not.
im doing single mod testing rn --- Post updated --- ok ive narrowed it down to 3 mods --- Post updated --- Ok i found it it was a old semi tow truck mod im deleting it --- Post updated --- It worked! i have the skin back --- Post updated --- the T-parts mod by beamo is also causing the skin to dissapear
