I'm trying to make a custom skin or the bolide, (with both an overlay and colour pallette map, like the bluebuck racing skins for example) I'm quite certain I have the DDS, jbeam, and materials.json file set up correctly, but the vehicle acts as if no skin is applied. looking in the console gives me the error Code: unable to unserialize file: /vehicles/super/skin1.materials.json Error 2 looking through the .json file, nothing looks out of place, i've tried having the texture files and the .json in a subfolder, and directly in the super folder, and nothing works. is there any way to resolve this?
Validate the Json first here, it is possible it contains syntax errors If the syntax is correct, then please share the Json
I checked, and it turns out I was missing the curly brackets at the very start and end. now it works. amazing what I can miss sometimes.
